(via CFISD)Birkes Elementary School kindergarten student Lillie Kusak rang the cancer battle bell at Texas Children’s Hospital on her fifth birthday, ending a fight in which she had a Wilms tumor and her kidney removed in July and endured six rounds of radiation and seven months of chemotherapy. As of Aug. 17, Lillie was still cancer free. “I like blowing bubbles with my brother Sam. I like to twirl around and make them go in a circle. Then I like to run after them to make them pop! I also love spending time with my mommy.”What inspires you?
