The FBI Violent Crime Task Force needs the public's help identifying and locating a man, dubbed the "Silent Bandit," who nonverbally robbed a Wells Fargo Bank on Monday in north Harris County.
The robbery occurred at approximately 11:45 a.m. on Monday, August 6, 2019 at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 2202 FM 2920.
The suspect entered the bank, approached a teller, and handed over a threatening note demanding cash. During the robbery, the "Silent Bandit" did not speak a single word, but instead directed the teller by pointing and gesturing. The robber left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.
The robber is described as a Hispanic male in early 30s, approximately 5'3" tall with a medium build. During the robbery, he wore a grey beanie hat, dark sunglasses, and a black long sleeve shirt.
